HISTORY

Hastings School of Contemporary Dance members have choreographed, staged and produced more than 20 shows at The Stables Theatre, Old Town, Hastings between 1982 and 2007 under the direction of Sue Marshall. There are annual performances at The Stables Theatre presented by our talented Youth Group and the Saturday morning children's classes also have the chance to perform their talents to a live audience.

We encourage co-operation and collaboration with musicians, poets, writers and artists which enriches the creative experience for performers, choreographers and audiences.

We have worked in collaboration with musicians Richard Durrant and Frances Knight, dancers Duncan McFarlaine and Clare Whistler, and composers Paul Ackerley and Chris Green.
